Kelly Deering

Kelly Deering officially joined Compliance Advisor Professionals in December 2019. She had worked as an outsourced CFO for CAP prior to joining the team and has known Ellen for nearly ten years. She serves as the Chief Operating Officer on a part-time basis.

Kelly has a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Michael’s College and attended the Post Baccalaureate Accounting Program at Providence College. She has nearly 20 years of Managerial Accounting experience and has worked as a controller and CFO for both manufacturing and real estate companies and currently operates a freelance bookkeeping business part time.

Kelly helps to manage the team and the day-to-day operations at CAP. She is responsible for all aspects of accounting, human resources, and technology. She helps promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale. She works to develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures. She also works with Ellen to establish the company’s goals and objectives and assists with high-level decisions about policy and strategy.

Kelly lives with her husband and teenage son in Southeastern Massachusetts and enjoys abstract painting, photography, and cheering for her son in the various sports he plays.
